Wedding season will soon be upon us in the UK as the weather brightens up. Weddings come in all shapes and sizes these days from a simple small gathering and an elegant registry office to a Church ceremony and more and more people are choosing to combine the Wedding and Honeymoon at a beautiful destination.

There are lots of things to consider when you are organising a Wedding from the clothing to the transport, to flowers and the cake but don’t forget to spend some time thinking about the Wedding favors or gifts for your guests to show your appreciation for their attending your big day.

Here are some ideas to help you on your way to choosing favors for your Wedding guests.

Designer Photo Frame

A designer photo frame can be thoughtful and beautiful as a gift, especially if your photographer is briefed to get photos of the guests so you can include one in the frame. You can order online gifts such as photo frames to show your affection for your friend and family. Crafted frames in wooden or glass patterns go down particularly well.

Religious Statues or Idols

If you are having a religious ceremony or come from a culture where icons and idols are given as favors you may wish to consider these for your guests. You may wish to choose representations of Gods or perhaps symbols of peace. Guests who share in your religion will love to get such meaningful gifts and thank you for giving remarkable moments.

Delicious Cake and Sweets

Wedding cake is a huge tradition that goes back many generations and nothing delights guests more than seeing a beautiful cake and being able to take a slice (or two) away with them to enjoy. These days you can order an online cake to mark your memorable occasion. An alternative to cake would be sweets (sugared almonds are very traditional) in individual packets to leave your guests with sweet memories of your big day.

Unique Gifts

By no means do you have to stick to the traditional gifts we all know about. Why not try something different? When my husband and I were married we gave out packets of seeds for our guests to go home and plant so they would think of us when looking out into their garden. Why not try personalising some flower pots for your guests with their names on along with some seeds?

Another option may be to personalise some brassware utensils for your guests or perhaps small trays, bowls, glass set, and fruit boxes, etc. which will be a unique way to welcome your guests at the wedding ceremony.

All of these gifts will be fantastic to show your regard and gratitude to your guests for coming to your wedding ceremony.
