And if you don’t want baby of colours that’s fine, you can bring in some more subtle pastel tones or even a metallic accent such as rose gold.

Little touches
Sometimes it can be just as good to choose subtle elements of colour as it is to go gung ho with bright yellow paint. If you like to keep your home looking fairly modern and contemporary you can think about adding some coloured tea towels or oven gloves as an accent in the room.
