When it comes to taking photographs I am the type of person who loves to get just the right shot, save them on my computer and then forget about them! This simply will not do. My parents have albums full of amazing family memories that go back from before I was born and when I consider how many photos I have digitally ‘laying around’ I feel bad about not doing something with them.
When Tesco Photo got in touch offering me the chance to test out their personalised photo gift service I decided that rather than sitting on photos from my recent trip to Morocco with my sister I would get some printed up on a canvas as a lovely keepsake for years to come.

For my review, I decided to go for a collage canvas print which would allow me to showcase a selection of photos from Morocco on one canvas. The collage canvases come in a range of sizes allowing you to choose to showcase 4, 6 or 9 photos. I went with the 20×16″ 4 Image Collage Canvas which is printed using Epson ink and is hand stretched over a handcrafted wooden frame.
I liked using the canvas builder which made it quick and easy to upload photos. You can choose the autofill option which randomly organises the photos, or like me, move them around yourself. As you can see I decided to use colourful photos of my sister and I on one diagonal and photos of some of the historic sights we saw on the other to create an attractive aesthetic.
Tesco Photo offers a great next day service when you order by noon, canvases including 12×10″, 16×12″, 20×10″, 20×16″, 20×20” and 30×20″ can be collected from store after 3pm! Larger canvas prints or orders shipped to home take approximately 8 days.
My canvas turned out great, I was worried that because I had taken the photos on my phone rather than a camera they would be grainy but they appear to be top notch quality despite this and the colours are bright and vibrant. The canvas is a great size for sitting in my office so I can turn around and remember our fun week in Morocco whenever I like.
I award Tesco Photo 5 out of 5 stars for offering a quick, effective and top quality service. I love my collage canvas and look forward to making a gallery of similar pieces so I can show off my memories rather than leave them on my hard drive!

I have to admit I didn’t know that Tesco’s offered a range of photo gifts! But what a great idea. It is amazing the different things you can images put on these days and I always think they make great gifts as they are more personal.
I am a massive fan of printing photos and having physical things and it’s nice to know Tesco do stuff like this too x
